The Great Hall!

Samantha walked into the great hall, her boots went made that noise they do when they hit a hard surface. She looked around in awe, it was just..amazing. The ceiling was high as can be, there were chairs everywhere, of course. The mummer of all the other students was a little overwhelming though. Samantha stayed on the sidelines, no major events were happening, so only a few were here. But, she just didn't want to go sit down.

Inching her way along the outer parts of the great hall, she kept glancing up. The ceiling was SO high, it was crazy. Finally, she stopped moving and just stood there for a moment, looking around the room. It was..just..truly..cool..and amazing..she couldn't get over it. More students seemed to come in on the second. It wasn't very crowded, but it was certainly not quiet, unlike the lake. She longed for quietness of the lake..Samantha liked it there. It was awesome there...maybe not the same view kind of awesome but still...awesome.

Alexis was rusing through the halls, she knows it's not good to make noise along the halls especially when it's the Great Halls but, still she needs to rush, her owl escaped the common room, she dosen't know how but it happend. Alexis ran faster then she could , she isn't looking at her ways, she accidentally pushed Samantha because she is rushing, before she go she said "Oh, Samantha...i am sorry" and continued to ran, Then she got her owl "Bad owl! Don't you run away again! Now, go back to the common room" Alexis said to her owl. Then she turned to Samantha "Oh..I am really sorry, i was rushing and someone told me that my owl escaped...i don't know how..sorry..." Alexis said as she feel bad about the both of them. Alexis's Owl came back to her with a message on it's foot, "What's this Aura? A letter? From who?" Alexis said as she opens the letter, she finished reading it but...she wants to throw it away...the letter said the she should come home and celebrate her cousin's birthday and just come back next year at Hogwarts, Alexis didn't want to leave.."Aura, give this back to mom....and...that's about it.." Alexis said as Aura flew.

Samantha felt something hit her back, pushing her to the floor. She pushed out her hands, catching her fall. Luckily, they weren't scraped or anything. About to really snap at whoever had pushed her, she got up and turned. Alexis's rushed apology made her stop. She scowled, and then Alexis started talking about how her owl brought her a letter. Ugh. And she had to push her over for that?

"Uhm..It's fine." She watched Alexis read the letter. Curious, she couldn't help herself but ask. . "Who'd you get a letter from?" She asked quickly. She thought for a moment. Classes hadn't even started, they hadn't been here all that long...who could she possibly be getting a letter from? Well..some family's miss each other quickly...so that might be it. Why was she being so nosy! She shouldn't being getting into Alexis's stuff, Samantha thought angrily to herself. Geez.

"I am really sorry, my owl escaped from The common room...and this? It's from my mother...She dosen't really like me being a witch, she said that i should come home for a birthday party and i will be coming back next year...she's making excuses... She wants me to live normally...she can't take me being a witch...I won't go back, i am here...and why would i leave hogwarts? Besides i will come home eventually..." Alexis said as she looks in a window. "Here comes Aura!" She said to no one, she picked up Aura and said "Good girl, now...go back to the common room...i will lock you in your cage if you escape again. Remember to watch my stuff ok? I don't want anything lost...especially my important stuffs...." Alexis said to Aura as Aura flies back to the Gryffindor Common Room. "My mom is really....how do i say this...uhm...not mean...not nice...not ok...i can't say something bad about her, i don't know why" Alexis said to Samantha.

Ninps casually walked into the Great Hall that is until she took in her surroundings. Hundreds of candles were floating above here head, and she saw the sky above her. 'Didn't this place have a roof?' Italia thought to herself. As she looked harder at the 'sky' she realised it was actually the ceiling. 'Wow, I really can't wait to start learning magic! Imagine what I could do with all those spells!' This place was magnificent and magical, and Ninps couldn't help herself staring wide eyed at the sight of the place, until she saw a small white object flying towards her. Ducking, she turned around and saw it was a snowy owl. Turning back around, she saw two first year students that she had recognized from around school, a Ravenclaw and a Gryffindor. Feeling the need to talk to them, she boldly walked up to them, ready to start making some new friends.

Samantha stood there, listening to Alexis ramble on and on about her owl,her mother, and about the letter. Ok, so maybe she was only half listening. Alexis's owl came back and Alexis gave it instructions "Hmm..ok..so your mother doesn't like you being a witch..wizard..or whichever you are...anyway..so? Just because she doesn't like doesn't mean that it changes anything. You are one, big whoop, there's nothing she can do to change that fact. Whether you're at Hogwarts or not."

Samantha turned quickly to the sound of another person coming up to them. "Uh...Hhhiiii" She dragged the word out, startled by the girl just randomly coming up to them. 'Huh' She thought to herself. 'Why is she over here?' She stood there, wondering about this and waiting for the girl to speak. Maybe she just needed something quick? Or maybe she wanted to make friends? Ugh. 'Oh I don't know!' Samantha thought to herself. 'You know,' She started to scold herself. 'You could just wait till she speaks instead of going over it again and again in your head' She thought.

As Ninps walked over to the two students, she saw the Ravenclaw turn her way. "Uh...Hhhiii" Ninps noticed how startled she was by her sudden appearance and how she drew the word out in a wary manner. She felt her cheeks burn up as they blushed a deep red colour. 'Great' she thought 'The one Ravenclaw I decide to try to make friends with wasn't the nicest she had seen around here. Or maybe she isn't very comfortable around people?' Anyway, whatever it was, the Ravenclaw was obviously waiting for her to speak, so she logically spoke. Might as well get the dodgy introductions over with.

"Hi" she said, obviously nervously. "My name's Ninps and I'm new around here. I was hoping maybe we could be friends, seeing as I've noticed you two around together. What's your name?" There. Wasn't so hard was it?

'Ok now to wait and see what her response is... Hopefully I won't make an enemy on my first day. Anyway, hopefully the Gryffindor will be more cheerful.' What was she thinking? What had her mother told her? Don't judge a book by its cover. Why should she be thinking this about the Ravenclaw when she'd only said two words? 'Stop babbling on Ninps!' her head cried. 'Time to see what she says now...'

Alexis dosen't really mind what Samantha has to say, afterall they have been stumbled up upon each other very often. "Hmm..ok..so your mother doesn't like you being a witch..wizard..or whichever you are...anyway..so? Just because she doesn't like doesn't mean that it changes anything. You are one, big whoop, there's nothing she can do to change that fact. Whether you're at Hogwarts or not." Samantha said to her. "I guess, she just can't accept that to all the kids that could be born...i became the muggleborn wizard." She said.

After a while she saw a girl in Ravenclaw robes, Samantha talked to her by a hi and the girl...was named Ninips. Alexis was used to making friends so she is in fact a lot nicer than Samantha but somewhat...there was something strange in Samantha's personality. "Hello Ninips! I'm Alexis, oh! and you are new? I'd be happy to give you a tour around the school! And i'd be happy to help you around" Alexis said, being cheerful and all.

OCC: Hey Ninps, we have posting order here. Where, since I posted first, then Alexis joined, then you joined, The posting order is Me, Alexis, You. It went, Me, Alexis, You, Me, You. So we need to wait till people post to keep the correct posting order. ]

Samantha had to try really, really, really, hard to not roll her eyes at the girl saying ' I was hoping maybe we could be friends' But she didn't, and her mother would be proud of her for not doing it. She straightened a little, trying to be polite. "Oh..hi..." She paused. "I'm Samantha." 'The girl wasn't bad, so you shouldn't have to be all defensive!' Samantha thought angrily to herself.

She turned to Alexis for a moment. "So about your mother, who cares if she can't accept it. "It'll be fine." And thats that she thought to herself. That would probably be the end of that conversation that....that..She struggled to remember...Ninps! Yes Ninps, was here. She listened to Alexis talk about giving Ninps a tour. A tour? Of Hogwarts? Thats a lot of space. And wow, Alexis knew her way around the school already..lucky..Samantha though. She barley knew the way to her common room.

When Ninps heard Alexis offer to give her a guided tour of the castle, her first thought was 'Surely she hasn't been here longer than me, how does she already know the way around?' Well, she couldn't really say no could she? Well, at least she was being helpful an polite. Ninps knew she would really like this girl. "Thank you! Of course I'd like a tour of the school. And I'd really appreciate your help if I need it. See! Making friends wasn't so hard, was it?

Then Ninps got a really big surprise. She heard the other Ravenclaw girl saying "Hi" in a nicer way and saying her name was Samantha. She could tell Samantha was starting to soften up and was being kinder to her. "Hi Samantha! Do you want to come with me and Alexis on the tour?" Ninps asked. She really hoped she could get to know her and Alexis better, they might even be in the same classes together!

"Thank you! Of course I'd like a tour of the school. And I'd really appreciate your help if I need it." The girl named Ninips said. "Uh...Ninips, i'm not a liar but... I don't really know much about the school...but i do want to learn some places with you! Though....i'm a Gryffindor so i can't help you with common rooms but.. Samantha can! She's obviously a Ravenclaw." She said to Ninips. She took a deep breath and smiled at no one and at nothing, of course they just stumbled up upon each other...Students are around, Gryffindors, Slytherins, Hufflepuffs and Ravenclaws. It seems that Slytherins don't come around the place that much. It feels so great to her. Alexis took another deep breath and took a seat. "Ahh...that feelss good!!!" Alexis said from no wonders. Alexis kind of noticed her owl flying around outside. She stood up and faced the window and shouted "Aura! come here! I told you not to go out! Are you bored my princess? Ok so you can go and fly just don't.....stay out for too long and stay safe as possible" to Aura.

Samantha listened to Ninps accept the tour. Oh..well...that should be interesting. Did Alexis really already know her way around? "Hi Samantha! Do you want to come with me and Alexis on the tour?" She bit the inside of her cheek, not sure if she wanted to come or not. "Well..." She started. "I...guess.." She said. She could come along.

Then Alexis started talking about not being a liar. Samantha had to stifle a laugh...since when was she told she was a liar? Uh...never. Well...at least not by her. Samantha thought to herself. "but... I don't really know much about the school...but i do want to learn some places with you!" Alexis said. Ok..well..that answers her question from before. Alexis didn't really know her way around but she still wanted to look around and stuff. Samantha couldn't blame her..she kind of wanted to explore to. Alexis sat down, talking about how it feels good, but quickly stood, going to yell at her owl. Samantha wondered about that owl...why it was flying around out there.

Walking in the Great Hall Bryan Saw some Very Pretty Girls Talking and Decieded to make friends to the 3 Girls, so pretend to walk past and then trip right into Samantha's arms, my Books and wand falling on to the floor, pretending to act sorry as my electric blue eyes dance and wavy blond hair messed up, Hi "Cutie" Whats you name and see Alexa and Ninmps you 2 are cute also! want us 3 to be friends?

Piper, had just been sorted into Ravenclaw it was the house she really wanted to be in, it fit her personality and she, honestly, couldn’t wait for school to start up so she could get started on her homework and studying for her O.W.L’s! She noticed not to far up two other Ravenclaw girls were walking, it would be a brilliant idea to make friends in her own house. She stopped short when a Ravenclaw boy made his way over there, she watched as he made a ridiculous attempt to “tumble” gracefully into her arms, and it was anything but.

Piper, determined and agitated that a fellow Ravenclaw would pull this made her way over there. “Did the ground slid out from underneath you?” She asked sarcastically “In case you didn’t notice it’s the ceiling that moves not to ground.” Piper folded her arms over one another “I’m sure my friends would be a lot more appreciative if you just spoke and introduced yourself, speaking of my name is Piper Rockwell, and I’m pleased to meet all of you!” Piper smiled, she knew she came off as snarky which is the last thing she wanted to do, she left off a smile to show she didn’t mean all of what she said, Piper loved using sarcasm as a way to convey messages.

As Aura flied back to the common room, two ravenclaws joined in. "Hi "Cutie" Whats you name and see Alexa and Ninmps you 2 are cute also! want us 3 to be friends?" The boy said. "Hey Samantha, this ravenclaw guy called you cutie! Looks like the two are going to have some history, right ninips?" Alexis said as she laughed so hardly, anyone in there could hear her. Alexis stopped laughing and remembered the fact that he called her "Alexa". Alexis felt quite teased. "And... please, for goodness sake! Don't call me Alexa, I'm Alexis, Alexis Lyn Amazon. And you are? hmm" Alexis said.

Soon another ravenclaw student appeared. She looked annoyed but looked like not, she introduced herself as Piper Rockwell. "Hi Piper, I am Alexis, i think you already herd..." Alexis said. Alexis began to think, all of them are Ravenclaws but she was a.... Gryffindor. "Ok... this is wierd...the four of you are "Ravenclaws" and i am the one and only "Gryffindor" ...this is so creepy..." Alexis said as she rolled her eyes away for them, facing the window.
