Wandering Around.

Samantha walked away from the black lake, trudging through the grass step by step. She started to wander around the campas. After a while, she had reached the far end of the campas and came across a shack, alone and it looked abandon. She cautiously moved closer to it, very curious. Opening the door, it creeked and Samantha winced instinctifly. She poked her head inside, wondering what was in there.

"Hey Samantha! I saw you were going here and the place was creepy so i followed" Alexis said happily.

But as Alexis talked she saw a Snake inside. "Uhm...Err...Samantha i-i-i need to go" said Alexis feeling very frightened. As she waits for Samantha to talk the snake comes closer and closer then Alexis started to Hiss a little, while the snake was telling her something about her.

Samantha turned quickly, leaving the door wide open. "Wha...uh" She was thoroughly creeped out by the fact that Alexis had followed her. She looks back inside the shack. Snake. Black Racer. Of course, these things were everywhere. Mostly in this part of the country. Her ponytail swayed in the wind of the day. "What's up with you?" She asked, confused by her sudden appearence and then wanting to leave.

"U-u-uhmm..i need to go...maybe let go somewhere else...i'll just see you in in the sixth floor of hogwarts ok?" said Alexis feeling very scared.

While waiting for Samantha to talk the snake came close to her, it's almost in front of her. The Snake hisses and Alexis was hissing saying "Go Away! I don't want to hear what you'll say!". But Alexis is only hissing quietly but can be herd if a person is close to her.

Samantha rolled her eyes. "Yeah, sure. I'll meet you there if your really that scared." Samantha brushed bangs that have fallen yet again in front of eyes away. She squated towards the snake, trying to get a better look. But, it was dark in the shack, weird as the sunlight /should/ be pouring in because the door is wide open. She looked up at Alexis who was still standing.

Alexis was hissing and it became a little louder because she was saying "I don't want to see you! You'll ruin my life! I'm happy just the way my life is!". Then Alexis talked to Samantha "Huh? did you say something?...uhm...well i'll go there right now...i'll meet you there...remember SIXTH FLOOR..bye!". As she said that she hurried to Hogwarts.

“The most haunted building in London?” Piper spoke to herself “I’ll be the judge of that” She spoke confidently and with a smile, she loved to explore and as soon as she heard about this intriguing old building she couldn’t help but want to explore. As she neared the building she distinctly heard voices speaking by the shack. She wandered over, not shy in the least.

When she arrived she saw there were two girls standing in front of the shack and one hurried off "What was she on about?" realizing she was being somewhat rude she smiled. “Hello” she interjected into a conversation that seemed to be cooling down. “I’m Piper Rockwell, first year Ravenclaw, when I heard about this place I was dying to see it” She shut her mouth to keep herself from going on about her love for adventures and finding new places.

Samantha sighed, grabbing the snake quickly by the neck, being careful not injure it. "Yup. Black Racer." She always liked snakes. But people freaked out when they found out, so she pretended not to like them. This snake was only a hatchling, not longer then 6 inches. She held the body in her right hand, and the neck in her left, careful not to let it bite her..and careful not to hurt the snake.

Samantha turned to the girl who had introduced herself as Piper. Alexis had already left. She quickly squated, letting the snake go. Brushing off her hands a smile appeared on her face. "Hi, I'm Samantha." She smiled and raised her eyebrows. "Doesn't seem all that haunted to me." Samantha shrugged.

“Pleased to meet you Samantha” Piper smiled “It’s always nice to meet a fellow Ravenclaw” Samantha noted on the house and how haunted it seemed to be. ‘Honestly, not to my either, but you never know do you” Piper turned her head in the direction the other girl had left. “Is she alright..she seemed a bit…frazzled when she left?”

“It almost sounded like she was speaking Parseltounge” Piper was a bit confused “Each to their own I suppose” It was a bit odd, being a Parselmouth was a are talent and Piper had always wanted to meet one, but never had the chance.

Samantha smiled as the girl was talking about Ravenclaw. Then she moved on to the girl. "I don't know" She answered. "That girl...Alexis...she's a bit strange." She thingyed her head. "You mean like...talking to the snake?" Samantha thought back to earlier when she had met the girl. She had talked about talking to snake. Hmph.

“Yeah, must’ve taken her ages to learn the language, but I’ve heard that some people can come by it naturally.” Piper was amazing with the ability some people have to be speaking another language ad have no knowledge that they ever learned a new language, just to be born that way. “This wasn’t as interesting as I was hoping” Piper admitted sadly “Oh well, I guess it was talked up a bunch by the older students."

Piper looked around the small house like building one more time. “Hm, didn’t that girl want to meet you somewhere or is my hearing off?”

"Yeah, I wonder if it was natural for her? I mean it doesn't seem like she meant to talk to the snake..if she did. Confusing. And yes, I was supposed to meet her. I'll go look for her. It was nice talking to you." Samantha smiled at the girl and turned away, heading back towards Hogwarts.

“Erm Samantha?” Piper spoke quietly, trying to catch the girl’s attention before she left, “Mind if I come with you, I’ve always wanted to meet a Parselmouth” Piper had so many questions for that girl, she was thinking and organized list through her head careful as to not bombard the girl with questions “Alexis, did you say her name was?”

Samantha turned quickly, surly she had heard her name. She heard the girl contuine talking. Ok, it was her. "Yeah sure, you can come along. Just uh..I'm not sure she's so comfortable with it yet..and I don't know if she knows she's a Parselmouth so I don't think we should ask many questions at first. And yes, her name was Alexis."
