Dana looked out at the bright colors in the streets, flocks of children raced by the wand shop but they seemed to be more attracted to the drazzleing candies of the sweetshops, or the brand new broomsticks. "Over here, get your wands here! Best on Diagon Alley!" She sighed and wrung her hands together.
"They'll come eventually" She spoke to herself, heaving the door infront of her to get back into the shop. She pushed some of the wands boxes back into their right places. "There that's better" Then she removed some of the empty boxes to lessen the clutter in her small shop.

Piper had been walking through Diagon alley for a long while, her mother had gone to pick up an owl for her at the owl emporium. Hey eyes fixated on every single color and sound that attracted her attention.
"No, wands, you're looking for the wand shop."
She repeated the phrase over and over in her head and sometimes even out loud so she could concentrate at the task at hand. More than once she had contemplated asking some of the people. Piper was content, however, with asking someone for directions simply when she had looked everywhere. She had not even begun to look everywhere she was barely even halfway up the small alley.
"Wands! Wands" She read the sign excitedly "Finally" She opened the door and saw a small woman tidying up the cramped shop. "Excuse me" She began "The names Piper, Piper Rockwell I'm searching for a wand if you can help me that would be very kind, however, if you cannot I'll be on my way."

Dana listened to the bell ring above her shop ring, a small girl walked in, inspecting her cluttered shelves. Dana pressed her hands against her skirt, and patted the dust off her clothes. The wands are on the shelves so long it’s amazing how dusty they get. “Hello, hello, do come in.” The girl asked if Dana could assist her in finding a wand.
“Well of course I can help you, I wouldn’t have a wand shop and not sell wands would I?” Dana let out a course laugh and look at the girl, first year at Hogwarts she guessed. “Here try this, a Rosewood wand with a Hippogriff talon as a core, this will help you with your charms, you should go ahead and try it out.” Dana was quite convinced it would work perfectly.

Piper gripped her new wand tightly in her hand, she had been nervous for a long time and feared maybe they'd never get a good wand for her. When she flicked her wrist, and streem of white light burst through the tip filling the entire shop with light.
Piper was stunned, and awe struck. "Thank you so much! I'm dreadfully sorry to have to dart off in such a hurry, it's just that my parents are expecting me in just a bit. Thanks again." Piper pressed her coins onto the counter and darted out of the store.

Tate wandered into the shop, looking about her. She had been here before, of course, with older friends when they were getting their wands. Now it was finally her turn.
"Erm....hello. I need a wand. Do you have any suggestions?" she asked timidly, her brown eyes taking everything into account.

“Do I have any suggestions” Dana stared at the young witch with astonishment “Well ya’ did come into a wand shop didn’t ya’?” Dana smiled to show the girl that she was just joking. “I’m Dana, Dana Wrendale welcome to this fine establishment we have wands made from any type of wood you can imagine!” Dana spun around a talked over her shoulder playing with the small boxes on their shelves.
“I’ve got just the thing for you.” She pulled a long box from the shelve, “Here we are, 16 inches made from a birch tree with Hippogriff feathers for strength, go on now, don’t be scared”

Chuck had been looking in Diagon Alley for a while now, searching for the wand shop and spotted what seemed to be an almost deserted building. He walked toward it's window and peeked inside. He saw a woman offering a girl a wand. "This is it." He thought. He closed his eyes thinking about what to say and started walking. SMACK. Chuck hit his face on the door in front of him and started blushing.

Dana heard a thud on her door, she laughed light heartedly to herself and walked briskly to the door, she pulled pushed it open, careful of the boy who’d just run into the door. “Unfortunately you have to pull it not push it” She grinned again “You wouldn’t be lookin’ for a wand would you?” Dana, walked back behind her small counter and clasped her hands in front of her. “If you were I’ve got just the thing.”

Chuck rubbed his forehead and stood up from the ground. He pulled the door open and could see the wand boxes a bit clearer now. As the nice lady walked back behind her small counter, Chuck had a peek around the store. He saw what seemed like a smashed vase on the floor. "Excuse me, I was just wondering what happened to this vase?" Chuck asked, curiously.

“OH, that vase, broke about a year ago when a spell went astray, it happened so many times I never bothered to fix it” Dana laughed, and he eyes seemed to sparkle, she loved her job and was constantly meeting new students. She always tried to keep herself busy in the wand shop, but loved when new students would wander in. “Now, are you looking for a wand?” Of course he was, the wand shop isn’t the most popular hang out place, however, Dana always felt it was fit to ask the people if there were in fact here for a wand, who knows times are changing, someday people might just hang out here.

"Yeah!" Chuck replied thinking of the wonders he could create with a wand. " I don't really want a powerful wand. I just want a wand that suits me. Clumsy but smart old me" He said ending his sentence with an awkward laugh. He had always been in awkward situations, but hopefully this wonderful wizard school would change that. "I sure hope I don't break a vase" He whispered to himself

“Don’t you worry your head we’ll find you the perfect wand in no time, I promise” Dana canned the various shelves with her hawk like eyes, humming to her self as she would pluck a box from its holding then gingerly slide it back into the wall.
“A gentle holly wand with the soft white hair of a stag, and that handle is made from oak for strength, how I know every first year needs it.” Dana slid the top of the box off and tucked it underneath the box itself. “Don’t be shy, go ahead and try it out!”

Chuck met the wonderful lady's eyes and took the wand. The wand felt warm in his hand and a tingling sensation filled his body. "Whoa how is thi-" He was cut off by the sparks emitting from the new wand. "It's great." Chuck said astounded. Whoa this is awesome he thought. "Oh, uhhhh how much is it?" He asked before almost walking out of the store with the wand.

Dana chortled, it lightened her spirits to see another child walk away happily. The wand had taken very well to the boy, and she noted the excitement in his voice, which is how most are when they receive a new wand. For it is one of the most fun experiences in this world. “It’ll be 5 galleons, please” She said quietly still laughing a bit. “I do hope you enjoy it, it suits you well.”
Dana went back to organizing the hundreds of wands that lay askew everywhere in the shop.

Chuck rummaged inside his pocket to find the 5 Galleons needed and gave it to the wonderful lady. He tried to remember the Mending Charm so he could fix the vase. He had been reading on it and thought maybe he could help the nice lady. "Uhhh Flipendo!" He called out pointing his wand at the broken vase. Instead of the spell flying toward the broken vase, it pushed another vase of a table and on the ground. "I am so, very sorry." Chuck said shocked. "I thought that spell was the Mending Charm."
