CARE OF MAGICAL CREATURESGreetings to you all, and welcome to Care of Magical Creatures! I am your teacher, Professor Oliver Carp, but for some reason, the older years much prefer calling me Oli.
Muggleborn Ex-Hufflepuff, with a love of creatures that beats my love of students. Apologies, but between a wounded animal and a wounded wizard...the animal would come first. I'm sarcastic, and rude, and yes, I know it. My sense of humour is...odd, to say the least. Clothing wise...robes are impratical for this lesson. I encourage my students to ditch that part of their uniform quickly, trousers, shirts and jumpers are enough. Warming charms work in the winter. Some creatures can harm themselves by attacking large bundles off cloth, you see. And no ties in my lessons, please. Put them in your bags, out of the way.
The rules on Homework are simple. Do it, or fail for the day it's due in. I can't be bothered to chase people up for missing homework. There are more worthwhile things to do with my time.
Feel free to enjoy yourselves though! My lessons are fun, of course they are. Pratical is much more important than theory...
So bags and ties, leave by the gate, and pull up a clump of grass. Let the lesson begin!
